  • DY BAK RICE MILL, JAN_MALACHI (guest) wrote 17 years ago:
I remember a tragic incident here. One early morning Jun, most beloved son of the DY BAK'S, while on a summer's vacation tried his hand on starting the ricemill. His arm was caught on a wheel, instantly severing it,leaving him dead. The one who would have operated the mill(one of my Ninongs) brought the severed arm out, crying. This was a dark period in the DY BAK'S household. (Info by Jan Malachi Dec. 6, 2008)

I remember, I was baptized here (he he, circumcized in 1965) in the operating room with Shirley(helper nurse), beautiful white lady (may lahing Americana), daughter of "Pikat". Pikat was Dunao's most famous "town crier",owner or caretaker of nearby ricefield where our ducks foraged. As a five-grader I had a juvenile fisticuff with his son Salen who was bullying me. My fear gave me enough courage to give him a determined punch on the side of his throat. That fixed it. He he. (Info by Jan_Malachi Dec. 6, 2008)

Don't know about this. Am up against the "kurakots" esp. in the govt. But whether your info is true or not let's keep it to ourselves. And please keep this WIKIMAPIA free from unwholesome comments about Ligao townfolks especially if you are a Ligaoeno yourself.(Comment by Jan Malaki. Nov. 29, 2008)

You are a good person, tagaMiligan . Your advice above should encourage only good and positive commentary from writers and commentators. There should be no allowances in a public viewing site for ill-conceived speech that would only breed resentment. Instead let us all focus on the good aspects of our place of birth, of our villages, of our towns. There is always something positive to write about. Always. Isn't there?
